The summer of 2009 was the kick-off of the annual PSSDA speech camp in Washington State. Over 60 kids attended camp and were able to try various speech events and practice new skills. Acacia Danielson (the camp director) did an incredible job organizing camp when it kept growing in size. This year we expect camp to be better than ever and are bringing in more staff and coaches to offer a wider variety of feedback to the students. It totally was!
We have several requirements for our teaching staff at speech camp. The first is that they have personal experience in public speaking and the second is that they have done well at a competitive level. All of our staff meet these requirements and beyond.
